SemperComm Receives In-Kind Donations For U.S. Service Members
Securis will donate a variety of electronics equipment to overseas remote bases

Springfield, VA – November 14, 2005 – The SemperComm Foundation, a charitable non-profit organization that was founded to boost the morale of U.S. service members stationed at overseas remote bases, today announced Securis as a sponsor of the foundation, through an in-kind donation of communications and entertainment equipment.

Securis’s contributions will enable SemperComm to continue to offer its comprehensive solution to remote bases around the world; SemperComm’s solution includes a suite of communications and entertainment tools, including internet access to the SemperComm Interactive Communications Site which connects service members with their loved ones back home. Securis will donate $25,000 of equipment ranging from computers, printers, monitors, televisions, DVD players and much more.

“SemperComm makes a difference in so many service members lives,” said Jeremy Farber, chief executive officer of Securis, “we are very excited to support SemperComm’s mission by donating the equipment that facilitates the communications between the service members and their loved ones.”

“We are grateful for companies such as Securis that are committed to supporting our service members stationed at overseas remote bases,” said Lara Anderson Coffee, executive director of SemperComm. “Due to this partnership, we are able to extend SemperComm’s services to additional remote bases and provide these men and women an opportunity to talk to their loved ones by the means in which the majority of the world communicates, the Internet.”

Through Securis’s contributions, SemperComm will make a difference in the lives of those who are stationed at remote bases by bridging the gap that once existed between them and their families, and also by providing them with sources of entertainment during their downtimes.

Other businesses that are interested in donating to SemperComm or sponsoring the foundation’s annual gala should contact Rachel Froehlich, development director, at 703.923.7613 or via email at [email protected]
