Securis attends E-Scrap 2006 Industry Conference
E-Scrap 2006: The North American Electronics Recycling Conference in Austin, TX featured extensive and detailed industry assessments. Securis Inc. sent two top executives to discuss and hear new ideas about trends in the U.S. and Canada, e-scrap collection issues, recycling market factors, and legislative and policy considerations. Presentations were given by leading experts in the electronics field.
In addition to informative sessions, E-Scrap 2006 featured a tradeshow showcasing the latest innovations and service offerings from firms providing e-scrap equipment and processing systems, as well as firms providing recovery opportunities, consulting services and markets for e-scrap materials.
Vice Present of Sales Jeff Farber noted, “I was impressed by how companies competing with Securis had so many different approaches to our type of business. It brought to mind that there are no industry-wide standards and changes to create these requirements are indefinite. The conference gave me a chance to meet and discuss issues with associates in the same field as myself which was a very informative experience.”
This conference was an opportunity to update those in recycling industry about current issues. The latest information was presented to attendants for the purpose of expanding their services.
