Laptops Donated to Local Specialized Day Camp
Sabra Hebrew Day Camp, Inc., a non profit organization, is a program encouraged by the Board of Jewish Education. At this day camp, children are able to develop their Hebrew skills as well as enjoy fun-filled summer activities. The camp even offers free Hebrew reading and writing lessons. Activities are designed to meet individual needs, interests, and skills of each camper.
Sabra has received a donation of three laptops and computer equipment valued at $645.00 from Securis Inc. The laptops will provide campers with the opportunity to participate in the educational aspect of our Hebrew immersion summer program. This donated equipment will allow Sabra to incorporate new ways to further the children’s knowledge. “The contribution of the laptops will enable the children to learn language through fun educational computer games. Sabra Hebrew Day Camp thanks Securis Inc for their generous contribution.” – Sam Schwartz.
Sabra creates an informal environment that provides recreation and culture while cultivating the children’s knowledge of Hebrew and Judaism. Sabra is qualified to receive tax deductible contributions to enable needy children to participate in the program. “Our campers enjoy free lunch and snacks, and a variety of camp activities, such as sports, dance, arts & crafts, swimming, ice-skating, and more, all conducted in Modern Hebrew…Your kind contribution will be used for the educational enrichment for those campers.” – Dorit Schwartz and Chani Parness, Directors.
